A whole new blog for a whole new me...

Welcome to the professional Lab Rat's new foodcentric blog! I recently had a revelation of sorts, if you will, after my homecoming this year. Not only did I have a long overdue makeover (contact lenses and makeup at the ripe, old age of 25), I had a change of attitude towards not only food, but also towards life in general. Don't get me wrong, I still love food and I'm still willing to wait an hour in line for a scrumptious bite (or two). The only difference is that I realized that the full enjoyment of food involves all five senses and great dining companions. I think I have always known it but have just been too busy to really consider it. Along with a makeover of my external appearance, I've decided to touch up my philosophy on food and thus, this blog is born.
